Email is the primary contact channel. Replies within a working week for editorial matters, sooner for corrections. There is no contact form to skip — email routes directly to Jamie.

Corrections and editorial issues

Spotted a factual error, a stale reference, a mis-attributed claim, or an ambiguity in a definition? Email with the URL and the specific issue. Substantive corrections are made within one working week per the editorial standards. Corrections are credited by name if you'd like attribution.

Question submissions for the FAQ collection

The FAQ pages grow when practitioners ask the same question twice. If you're wrestling with a UX practice question that isn't answered in an existing FAQ page or glossary entry, submit it. Recurring questions become new FAQ pages.

Advertising and affiliate enquiries

UX Companion accepts a small number of relevant advertising and affiliate relationships. Full policy on editorial standards: contextual relevance, explicit labelling, capped placements, no exception for the definition of any concept. If you represent a product that would genuinely help UX practitioners on a specific page, email with a link to the page and a note on why the placement would be contextually useful. Blanket "sponsored post" pitches are declined.

Professional contact with Jamie

For consulting engagements, speaking, portfolio review, or professional collaboration, use the same address. Jamie's current role is Associate Director, Experience Design at JD.com; UX Companion is a personal editorial project alongside that role. Availability for outside engagements is limited but genuine enquiries are answered.

Press and speaking

Press enquiries, podcast invitations, conference speaking. Include topic, date, format and audience size. Prepared to talk about UX audits, accessibility, AI-in-UX practice, and design leadership; less prepared for topics adjacent to UX I haven't personally worked on.

Legal and takedown

Copyright, DMCA, or legal-notice matters — email the same address with the phrase "Legal notice" in the subject line and specific citation of the page and the material in question. See the terms for the full site legal position.

Response times

Editorial corrections and reader questions get first priority — usually within 48 hours. Advertising enquiries reviewed weekly. Professional and press enquiries within a working week. UX Companion is a one-person operation alongside a full-time role — response times reflect that honestly rather than promising more.
